A five-time Best Lawyers in America® Workers’ Compensation Defense Lexington Lawyer of the Year, Kevin practices extensively in the area of workers’ compensation defense, representing insureds of workers’ compensation carriers and self-insured employers. He is also an experienced civil litigator in the areas of premises liability, insurance defense, contract disputes and estate contests, having successfully tried numerous jury and bench trials across the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
His litigation experience includes appellate cases before the Kentucky Court of Appeals and the Kentucky Supreme Court. His experience in workers’ compensation defense includes liability assessments, defense of injury and death claims, settlement negotiations/ mediations, medical fee disputes, defense and initiation of re-openings, and workers’ compensation subrogation claims.

Kevin is a dedicated volunteer with a number of community, state, and education organizations. He serves on the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education and as a member of the KCPE Academic and Strategic Initiatives Committee, as the State Universities’ Representative to the Kentucky Authority for Educational Television, and on the KET Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors, and has been a member of the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law Visiting Committee for close to ten years.
Kevin has been an integral part of the Rotary Club of Kentucky, serving in numerous leadership positions including President, and as President and Board of Directors of the Rotary Club Endowment of Lexington, Kentucky, Inc. In 2022, Kevin received the President’s Cup - the highest award the Lexington Rotary Club gives to a member each year - for his dedication to the organization and the community.
