With more than 12 years experience in healthcare law and litigation, Christine’s practice includes numerous trial victories in the areas of medical negligence, health care law, and insurance defense. She has successfully defended healthcare professionals, clinics, hospitals, and long-term care facilities against medical negligence claims, and advises clients on regulatory and compliance issues, including state regulatory matters. In addition to her experience as a litigation partner at a national law firm, Christine has served as chief legal counsel and as director of risk management and compliance for two nonprofit organizations.
Christine is a leading speaker on topics of emerging issues in health care regulation, compliance programs, HIPAA, and electronic medical records for attorneys, risk managers, healthcare providers, and business leaders. She also serves as an adjunct professor for the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law and UK’s College of Health Sciences.

Christine believes in hands-on service to the Lexington community, serving on the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government Ethics Commission and the Rural Land Management Board, and on the programmatic board for CivicLex. She also serves on the Civil Justice Reform Commission for the Kentucky Supreme Court. The Kentucky Bar Association honored her with their Young Lawyers Service to the Community Award in 2015.
