Cole & Miller Present on Critical Incident Response & Police Officer Bill of Rights at Sheriff's Conference

Government and police law attorneys Charley Cole and Scott Miller presented important information on critical incident response and Kentucky’s Police Officer Bill of Rights to sheriffs across the Commonwealth at the Kentucky Sheriffs’ Association Conference on December 6, 2022. Of particular importance to the sheriffs was the clarification that the Police Officer Bill of Rights applies to sheriff personnel, and information on how to ensure they comply.

Charley has advised multiple sheriff’s offices across the Commonwealth on officer discipline, policy creation, and preventative measures. He has represented departments and officers in issues from employment disputes and the Police Officers Bill of Rights, to emerging issues such as social media use and privacy issues.
